For First Responders
Critical patient information in under 3 seconds
No app to download. No account. Just tap and go.
Works with any smartphone
Any NFC-capable Android or iPhone (iPhone 7 and later) can tap a TapMe Medical device. The patient record opens in the browser โ no install required.
Information in priority order
Severe allergies appear first, then high-priority medications, then active conditions, then implanted devices. ACEP-aligned display logic so you see what matters first.
PIN unlock for full record
Basic alert information is always visible. If the patient has set a PIN, you can request it or the patient can unlock it. Records are never fully hidden from responders.
Offline-ready summary
The first-responder view is a static HTML page with no JavaScript dependencies. It loads reliably even on slow cellular connections.
See it in action
What a paramedic actually sees on their own phone โ five screens covering the full first-responder flow from NFC tap to call-center fallback.

Allergy alerts before PIN
1. NFC Tap
Tap the patient's TapMe device with any modern smartphone (iPhone 7+ or Android with NFC). Life-threatening allergies appear immediately โ before any PIN is requested. Notify on Tap fires to the patient's emergency contacts at the same moment.
Partner with TapMe Medical
We work with EMS agencies, fire departments, and hospitals to pre-configure Medical IDs for patients and distribute NFC devices at point of care.
